Peer-Review Process
The journal applies a double-blind review procedure (both reviewers and authors’ identities remain anonymous). Manuscripts submitted to the journal are initially reviewed by the editor, who determines whether the manuscript will be sent to outside reviewers.
The editors have the right to reject manuscripts at the pre-review stage; manuscripts rejected by the editors at the pre-review stage are not subject to further consideration, and the author cannot re-submit the article for consideration.
If the article complies with the requirements of the journal, it is sent to reviewers, who are asked to judge the validity, significance, and originality of the submitted work. Reviewers do not possess any information about the authors’ identities and vice versa.
The reviewers' reports are based on the following evaluation points:
- The topic of the article is relevant, timely, and of interest to the audience of this journal.
- The title is clear and matches the content of the article.
- The abstract and keywords accurately reflect the content.
- The materials and research methods are appropriate and applied properly.
- The article adequately ties to the relevant literature.
- The article brings new scientific ideas and results.
- The article is grammatically adequate.
Reviewers complete a form assessing the material’s adherence to the specified criteria and provide their opinion on its suitability for publication:
- Accept submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
- Accept with minor revisions: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
- Accept with major revisions: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted.
- Decline submission: The submission will not be published with the journal.
The Editor-in-Chief has final decision on the acceptance or rejection of all manuscripts.
The review process may take up to four weeks.
