Journal Policies

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

PLAGIARISM POLICY

Plagiarism is not acceptable in submissions. All the received manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism before starting the review process. If plagiarism is identified, the manuscript may be rejected.

EDITORIAL POLICY

The journal policy is generally to publish the articles chronologically according to the acceptance dates. Each accepted manuscript will be formatted in accordance with the journal style. The Editor reserves the right to determine the style, and if necessary, edit and shorten any material accepted for publication. Significant changes in the text will be agreed with the authors.

When the galley proof is ready, the Editorial Office will send the proof to the authors to check for its completeness. Confirmation or comments from the authors must be given within 72 hours of receipt of the proof, in order to avoid delays in publication of the manuscript. The authors should note that major alterations to the text will not be entertained at this stage and they are responsible for all statements made in their work, including changes made by the Editorial team and authorized by the corresponding author.

The authors are responsible for the reliability of the data provided. Statements and opinions expressed in the articles and communications appearing in the journal are those of the authors and not necessarily those of the editors and publisher. The editors and publisher disclaim any responsibility or liability for such material.

ARTICLE WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Submission of an article to the European Journal of Science, Innovation and Technology implies that the work has NOT been published or submitted elsewhere; therefore, the journal is strongly against unethical withdrawal of an article from the publication process after submission.

Submitted manuscripts can be withdrawn by the authors only if they have not been formally published. To request the withdrawal, the authors should submit a letter to the editorial office stating the reason for article withdrawal. If an article is found to violate the ethical publishing guidelines of EJSIT such as duplicate publication, plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, multiple submission, or bogus claims of authorship, the publisher has all the rights to withdraw that article.

Articles that have been published shall remain extant, exact and unaltered as far as is possible. However, some ethical issues may arise where a published article might later be corrected or retracted. Such actions must be taken seriously and can only occur under exceptional circumstances. Articles may be retracted if misconduct such as plagiarism, redundant publishing, and falsifying data, among others has been found. The original article will be removed from the website but the PDF or HTML link will be displayed with a note as retracted.

DISCLOSURE POLICY

A competing interest exists when professional judgment concerning the validity of research is influenced by a secondary interest, such as financial gain. We require that our authors reveal all possible conflicts of interest in their submitted manuscripts.

COPYRIGHT AND PERMISSIONS

Authors retain the copyright of their manuscripts, and all open access articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

The submitting author is responsible for securing any permissions needed for the reuse of copyrighted materials included in the manuscript.
